Beat the Heat this Summer with a New HVAC System with A-1 American!
A-1 American's GM, Meg Savell, recently had the opportunity to sit down with the Hampton Roads Show to talk about different ways to "Beat the Heat"!
One particular caveat that came from that is the announcement A-1 American is offering $650 OFF ANY NEW Air Conditioning and Heating system through the month of June!
We all know that Hampton Roads weather is kinda crazy, 90 degrees one day and the next you're bundled up around a fire, but in the Summer time we ALL know what to expect. Heat and Humidity!
Air Conditioning Tune Ups
Most people try to make the best of Spring before they turn on the Air Conditioner, Mini Splits, and HVAC units, but if you suspect that you may need more than just an average tune-up, we urge you to give us a call now. Once the heat sinks in--and let's face it--it's pretty much here to stay already, our service board gets backed up with people that have pushed off getting a new unit until the last minute. And if you are suseptible to heat or have a condition that could be exaserbated by the weather, it's even more important to get your home system checked out!
Take the time to check around your home, inspect your ceiling where your air handler may be. If there is condensation present and/or stains spreading across your ceiling, you need to give us a call sooner rather than later! The last thing you wantis your ceiling coming down on top of you or a family member.
Hot Water Heaters
Also, just because the focus is on the HEAT, don't forget about the largest container of water in your home, you're hot water heater. Hot water heater's need maintenance just like every other household appliance and unfortunately most hot water heaters are out of sight, which means they are out of mind.
In the Hampton Roads area, we are not known for the quality of our water, and quite a bit of sediment, rust and debris can build up inside the unit. That is water that your family is possibly drinking, but most definitely bathing in. Not to mention washing your dishes and clothes. This is especially important for people with any kind of skin condition.
