The basic concept is to use a typical bathtub set-up and add a shower portion which uses the existing bathtub drain. This shower replacement type is generally available in porcelain and acrylic.

While this is a more luxurious option for homeowner, it’s the more expensive of the options. A separate bathtub and shower replacement often requires additional piping, even when the shower and bathtub are side by side on the same wall. This requires removing the flooring or wall structure for the piping to be installed. All flooring and walls are reinstalled. This type of shower replacement service requires much more space. However, if cost isn’t really an issue, then this is a great choice to make. Standalone shower replacement will generally not require any additional plumbing, but more creative ideas such as new tile or faucets. It requires a contractor to install artistic architecture for the desired effect.

Catering to the homeowner with a penchant for a touch of elegance in relaxation, the standalone bathtub adds a luxurious atmosphere to the bathroom. This form of shower replacement includes whirlpools and claw-foot tubs, which create a spa-like atmosphere. Standalone bathtubs are typically only ideal if another shower is located in the household. Pricing can vary depending on exact models, and additional plumbing may be required depending on the location of the faucets. Tiling can also be added for more appeal.

No! Your quote will never change based on the time of day or day of the week. 
How much is a new HVAC unit? 
Price varies based on size and location. Fortunately, we work with several distributors to make sure you get the best deal in the quickest amount of time. 
Do you do service contracts? 
We will honor previously signed service contracts, but we are no longer accepting service contracts at either location. 
How can you bill by the job, not by the hour?
When a technician writes up your quote, he will give you an estimate based on the parts and labor required for the job. This way, our quote will be the same regardless of how much time your technician spends on the project. 
How soon can a technician get to me? 
At A-1 American, we understand that plumbing or HVAC services may be an emergency. We have a team of technicians on call 24/7 who take jobs on a first-come first-serve basis, so we can handle calls much quicker than the competition, usually getting to you the same day (and often within a few hours).
Do you offer free estimates? 
A-1 American provides free estimates on specific services. If you are replacing your entire HVAC system, wanting to convert to a tankless water heater, or needing an entire house repiped, we are more than happy to provide our quotes free of charge. Unfortunately, due to travel and time limitations, we do require a $78 dispatch fee for all other assessments. This fee does not apply if you agree to the services recommended by the dispatched technician.
