For the past thirty years, the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia works to provide solutions to hunger and certain consequences of poverty in our community, with a primary mission to promote food recovery; acquire and distribute food, clothing, and related products; and provide community leadership and education on issues of hunger and poverty. A-1 American believes in their mission and encourages you to join us in supporting the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia.
The Foodbank acts as the number one safety net for the region’s hungry by distributing emergency food to local soup kitchens, faith-based pantries, neighborhood centers, family crisis centers, senior centers, and homeless shelters for adults and children. The Foodbank receives food from restaurants, supermarkets, food distributors, the USDA, farmers, wholesalers, sportsmen, food and fund drives, and through purchased product when donations alone simply cannot meet demand. They need our help. Your donations of food or funds go directly to our community. For more information about the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia please visit their website.
